The heavy equipment industry operates on the principle that buyers must verify the condition, specifications, operational capabilities, and suitability of equipment for their intended use.

Buyers are responsible for:

• Examining all equipment thoroughly before completing a purchase
• Verifying equipment specifications and condition

Returns Policy

All Heavy Equipment Sales Are Final

4 Corners Equipment operates on an AS-IS, AS-SHOWN basis. Once a purchase has been completed and payment received, the sale is final and binding. No returns, exchanges, or refunds are permitted under any circumstances. This policy is standard within the heavy equipment industry and reflects the used equipment market conditions.

This means:

• Equipment purchased from 4 Corners Equipment cannot be returned after the sale is complete
• No refunds will be issued once title transfer and payment have been finalized
• Equipment is sold in its existing condition with all known and unknown defects
• The buyer assumes all risk and responsibility for the equipment upon purchase
• No warranty is implied or expressed unless specifically documented in writing at the time of sale

Why this policy exists:

Heavy equipment is a high-value, specialized asset that depreciates upon purchase. Once equipment leaves our facility and is put into service, it cannot be resold as new equipment. The heavy equipment industry standard is “as-is, where-is” sales to protect all parties involved.

Limited Exceptions

In rare circumstances, refunds or adjustments may be considered only if:

• The equipment purchased is materially different from the documented specifications provided at the time of sale
• A documented title issue exists that prevents legal ownership transfer
• The transaction involves payment fraud or processing errors attributable solely to 4 Corners Equipment

Any requests for refund consideration must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of purchase and must include detailed documentation of the claimed discrepancy. All refund requests will be evaluated at the sole discretion of 4 Corners Equipment management. Approval is not guaranteed and will only be considered when objective evidence supports the claim.

Requests received after 5 business days from the date of purchase will not be considered under any circumstances.

Equipment Condition Disclaimer

All equipment is sold AS-IS in its current condition. Unless explicitly stated in writing at the time of purchase, no warranties are provided regarding:

• Mechanical condition or operational capability
• Freedom from defects, mechanical issues, or component failures
• Ability to pass emissions testing or regulatory compliance
• Service history or maintenance records
• Cosmetic or paint condition
• Engine performance or fuel efficiency
• Transmission, hydraulic, or electrical system functionality
• Remaining useful life of components or engines

Equipment may have been used, repaired, modified, or maintained by various operators. Some equipment may have documented damage history, previous repairs, or age-related wear. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to identify and accept these conditions through proper inspection and testing.

Compliance with Heavy Equipment Sales Laws

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from equipment purchases from 4 Corners Equipment shall be governed by the laws of New Mexico. Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.

All sales agreements are final and binding. By completing a purchase with 4 Corners Equipment, buyers acknowledge and accept this Refunds & Returns Policy and waive any right to return, exchange, or obtain refunds for purchased equipment.
